We’re happy to announce our next meetup, taking place next week(!) on Thursday March 23rd at our office, 945 Bryant St, Suite #350, San Francisco.

This time around we’ll concentrate on investor talks. If you’re based in SF, you’re more than welcome to join!

The evening will feature three highly experienced and visionary health tech investors.

Our speakers are

Anya Schiess, Healthy VC

Anya Schiess is a healthcare leader and venture capitalist with experience in business development/deal-making, operations, strategy, sales/marketing, and public policy.

Anya’s sector experience includes digital health/health IT, medical devices, diagnostics and biopharmaceuticals. Her business experience spans operating companies, venture capital, and management consulting.

Zal Bilimoria, Refactor Capital

Zal Bilimoria is a Managing Partner at Refactor Capital, co-founded with David Lee of SV Angel. Refactor invests in founders solving fundamental human problems and has backed companies such as Clover Health and Call9. Prior to Refactor, Zal was a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz where he co-led investments in Omada Health and uBiome. Before commencing his investing career, Zal was a PM for 10 years at Google, Netflix, and LinkedIn.

Chris Farmer, SignalFire

Chris Farmer is passionate about turning ideas into products that have the potential to meaningfully affect the lives of millions of people. He specializes in guiding these early stage product-driven startups into successful businesses. Chris worked across the spectrum of consumer Internet, mobile, data and software from inception stage startups to Fortune 500 companies. He advises on product development, business strategy, and finance and assist with business development, fundraising and team building (executive and engineering).
